David Shock is the Chief Science Officer of Powerit who comes with over a decade of experience leading some of the most innovative research teams both domestically and abroad.
His passion to cultivate a culture of innovation started while at Phenomenex in Sydney Australia where a few of the many accomplishments include, University research collaborations, a novel Nickel-Iron battery project, co-chairing the 2015 Virtual Symposium on Applied Separation Science and publishing numerous papers.
After Phenomenex his passion to revolutionize healthcare saw him join Insource Diagnostics and then LetsGetChecked where as Director of R&D he was responsible for building a research department and program. While it was a short 3 years at LetsGetChecked, the pace of innovation outpaced what the organization could bring to market.
He obtained his PhD from Western Sydney University in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science from Western Washington University in Chemistry.
